In this role, you will lead global engineering groups including R&D, product development, design and manufacturing engineering. You will also contribute to the development and refinement of the company’s vision and strategy. In this role you will support the overall process of management and corporate decision-making to ensure the organization maximizes its short, medium, and long-term profitability and shareholder returns. You will liaise with other executive heads on the implementation of the company’s strategic and operational plans. You will develop, review, and report on the engineering strategy, ensuring the strategic objectives are well understood and executed by the team. Create and oversee a world class, innovative product design engineering organization. Build a voice of customer organization that is proactive and anticipatory towards customer needs. Build strong personal relationships with all key global customer accounts – engineering, sourcing/purchasing communities. It is IMPERATIVE that you have an advanced degree in an engineering discipline, preferably a master of material science or metallurgy, along with direct experience with casted components and lightweight metals.
